Giuseppina Lavorgna Tebano, 88, of Paradise Ave., Hamden, died March 5, 2016 at Yale-New Haven Hospital. She was the widow of Pasquale Tebano.

Giuseppina was born in Puglianello,(BN) Italy the daughter of the late Francesco and Giaconda Mongillo Lavorgna and resided in Hamden since coming to the US in 1969. She was employed at the Henry Richards Co for 15 years and enjoyed growing flowers.

She is survived by a daughter, Carmelina (James) Staffieri of Derby, a son Angelo (Marie) Tebano of Hamden, grandchildren, Claudia Drozd, Daniel Staffieri, Pasquale and Giuseppina Tebano and 3 great-grandchildren. She was pre-deceased by siblings, Immacolata, Carmina and Luigi Lavorgna.

Funeral Wednesday at 9:15 from the Peter H. Torello & Son Funeral Home,1022 Dixwell Ave., Hamden and at Blessed Sacrament Church at 10 o'clock. Entombment in the Garden Mausoleum in St. Lawrence Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday from 5 to 7 P.M.
