Gerald H. Piscitelli Sr., 79, of East Haven, died Dec. 9, 2017 at Yale New Haven Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Deborah Purcell Piscitelli. Gerald was born in New Haven, Nov. 25, 1938, the son of the late Angelo and Angela Albano Piscitelli and had resided in East Haven most of his life. He was employed for the State of Conn. D O T and then became a data processor for Milford Products. He was a member of the K of C, and enjoyed playing black jack at the casinos and smoking cigars. He was a friend to all, loved by all who met him and will be dearly missed. Beside his wife, he is survived by his devoted children, Gerald H. Piscitelli Jr., Alicia Piscitelli, Marissa (Dominic) D'Amato and Jillian Piscitelli (Jesse Pannone), all of East Haven, grandchildren, Dominic III, Angelo, Rocco and Austyn, sisters, Adrienne (Pat) DeFilio of Cheshire and Adele (Frank) Fornicelli of Wallingford and several nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to go directly to Our Lady of Pompeii Church, Friday at 11 o'clock for a Mass of Christian Burial and may call at the Peter H. Torello & Son Funeral Thursday from 4 to 7 PM.
