Frank Vitti, 68, of 311 Eastern St., New Haven, died suddenly June 21, 2011. He was the husband of the late Karen Burleigh Vitti. Frank was born in New Haven, Feb. 20, 1943, the son of the late John & Rose Bova Vitti and owned several garages in the New Haven area for over 40 years. He enjoyed fishing, camping the casinos and especially his loving family. He is survived by daughter, Mrs. John (Corrine) MacNiven of Cheshire, sons, Frank Vitti Jr., of Cheshire, John E. Vitti of Branford and Dominic R. Vitti of East Haven, a daughter in law Robyn Bombriant of Branford, a brother Dominick Vitti of No. Branford sisters, Rose Bacon of NV and Janice LaBlanc of New Haven and 4 grandchildren. He was pre-deceased by a brother John Vitti Jr. Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 P.M. in the Peter H. Torello & Son Funeral Home, 1022 Dixwell Ave., Hamden. Friends may call Saturday from 11 A.M. to 2 P.M.
