It is with great sadness that the family of Frank James Testa, announce his sudden passing on Thursday, June 20, 2024, at the age of 72. Born in New Haven, he was the son of the late Frank and Alice Stango Testa. A graduate of North Haven High School, Frank was a career truckdriver, spending many hours on the road for E.J. Davies, Inc., N. Casertano Greenhouses & Farms, and Penske Trucking. An avid animal lover, he volunteered throughout his life to help abandoned and orphaned animals, adopting the cats that he knew needed him most, including his beloved cat, Diana. Frank was devoted to his extended family and was always there with love, support, and assistance. He is survived by his nephew Nicholas Testa (Cindy); his nieces Kayla and Jacinda and great niece; his uncle Henry Testa and aunt Carol Testa, with whom he lived for many years; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother Dennis. Family and friends are invited to call Tuesday from 4 - 7 pm in the Peter H. Torello & Son F.H., 1022 Dixwell Ave., Hamden. Friends are asked to go directly to St Vincent De Paul Church, 80 Taylor Ave, East Haven on Wednesday at 9am for a Mass of Christian Burial. Burial in East Lawn Cemetery, East Haven, CT. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Animal Haven, Inc. in North Haven, or a charity of your choice.
