Frank Ferrara, 55, of Hamden, died in St. Raphael Campus, Aug. 1, 2017 after a long illness. Frank was born in New Haven, Aug. 3, 1961, the son of Rose Vitti Ferrara Bacon and the late Dominic Ferrara and was a chef at several restaurants prior to his illness. Beside his mother he is survived by a son, Michael Ferrara and siblings, Donna Mastracchio, Dawn Cerasale, Dominic, John, James, Ricky Ferrara and the late Deborah Ferrara. Friends may call at the Peter H. Torello & Son funeral Home, 1022 Dixwell Ave., Hamden, Wednesday from 7 to 8 P.M.
