Born on November 19, 1934, in New Haven, Connecticut, Frank lived a full and devoted life centered on family, friendship, and hard work. He was predeceased by his parents, Salvatore and Angelina Benevento, and by his beloved wife, Joanne. Frank was the beloved husband of the late Joanne Benevento (DeMatties), the love of his life and partner in everything. Their marriage was marked by deep, unwavering devotion—a bond that remained unbroken even after her passing. Together, they raised three daughters who were the center of his world: Dorinda (Glenn) Barletta of Bethany, Janice (Gregory) Palmieri of Cheshire, and Karen (Steven) Howe of Southington. Frank and Joanne were blessed with five grandchildren, Frank, Benjamin, Jessica, Amanda, and Olivia, all of whom brought them immense joy and pride. They also shared many nieces and nephews whom they loved dearly. Frank’s steadfast love and quiet strength shaped the family that continues his legacy of kindness, humility, and love. A proud U.S. Army veteran, Frank served his country with dedication before building a lifelong career as a master cabinetmaker. As the founder and operator of Kitchen Cabinet Outlet Inc. in North Haven, he earned a reputation for craftsmanship, integrity, and pride in his work that touched countless homes and lives throughout the community. He will be remembered as a man whose life reflected care in every gesture whether through his craftsmanship, his service, or his abiding affection for those around him.
