Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Frank, who left us peacefully on March 9, 2025. He was the loving husband of Debbie Corona Pascarelli. Born in New Haven, son of the late Michael J. & Mary Jasche Pascarelli, Frank who worked as the caretaker of Blessed Sacrament Church, was a beacon of light in the lives of all who knew him. His caring nature and boundless generosity knew no limits, as he would offer help to anyone in need, no matter the time or circumstance. He was the first to lend a hand, always ready to share his love and warmth. A truly remarkable soul, Frank had an energy that could fill any room. His infectious smile, lively personality, and ability to light up the space around him were gifts to all who crossed his path. There was never a dull moment when he was around; his laughter and joy were contagious, and he had the rare ability to make everyone feel welcome and appreciated. Frank was more than just a friend—he was family to all. He had a unique way of making each person feel seen and valued, always offering his support and love without hesitation. Whether you needed advice, a helping hand, or simply a good laugh, he was there for you, always. And for those who were lucky enough to share in his passion for horses, Frank was the go-to person for all things equine. Whether it was advice on training, care, or just understanding your horse better, he was always willing to lend his wisdom and share his love for these majestic animals. A lover of life, Frank lived each day with a positivity and zest that made him unforgettable. His presence will be deeply missed, but his spirit will continue to live on in the countless lives he touched. While we mourn his loss, we also celebrate the joy, love, and kindness he brought into this world. In addition to his wife, Frank is survived by 3 sons, Mike (Maryann) Pascarelli of Northford, Dan (Staci Yates) Pascarelli of Durham, and Joe (Lorraine) Pascarelli of Stratford, his grandchildren Kristopher Pascarelli, Matthew Pascarelli, Nicholas Pascarelli, Brie Pascarelli, Callum Pascarelli, his great-granddaughter Hailey Pascarelli, his bonus children, Rich Stevenson (Jennifer Fontanella) of Middlefield, Tara (Dave) Lyons of Hamden, his bonus grandchildren Joey Stevenson, Savannah Stevenson, David Lyons, Gage Stevenson, and Emma Lyons, a brother-in-law George Rioux, and his previous wives, Ann Pascarelli (lifelong friend) and Janice Pascarelli. He was predeceased by a brother Jimmy Pascarelli and sisters Mary Lou Rioux, and Phyllis Carney. He will be fondly remembered by all of his friends, loved ones, and anyone who had the pleasure of knowing him. Friends are invited to attend a memorial Mass Wednesday March 19th at 10:30 am in Blessed Sacrament Church. Interment will be private.
