Ferdinando "Fred" J. Ferraro, Jr., 70, of 35 Allene Dr., Hamden, died Sept. 10, 2010 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Cynthia Brunow Ferraro. Fred was born in New Haven, Oct. 22, 1939, the son of the late Ferdinando J. and Lillian Pawlak Ferraro Sr. and grew up in the Hill Section of New Haven. He was a patrolman for the East Haven Police Dept. from 1968 to 1973, a sales manager for Cadillac & Mercedes Benz dealerships and was a Judicial Marshall for the State of Conn. from 1995 to 2002. He was also a member of the Allingtown Roadwinders. Beside his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Frank (Michele) Streeto of New Haven, sons, Michael Joseph (Sharon) Ferraro of East Haven, Joseph (Nadine) Ferraro of Wallingford and Mario ( fiancee Shelby Dingle) Ferraro of Middletown, a sister, Mrs. Leon ( Judith) Skorzewski of West Haven grandchildren, Stephanie Streeto, Samantha Streeto and Isabella Ferraro and a great-granddaughter, Joselyn Streeto. Also survived by his first wife, Marianna Ferraro of New Haven. He was pre-deceased by a brother, Robert Ferraro. Funeral Tuesday at 10:15 from the Peter H. Torello & Son Funeral Home, l022 Dixwell Ave., Hamden, and at Blessed Sacrament Church at 11 o'clock. Interment in St. Lawrence Cemetery. Friends may call Monday from 4 to 8 P.M.
