Fanny Mattia Tyler, 100, formerly of Grandview Ave., Hamden, died Feb. 16, 2015 at Whitney Manor, Hamden. She was the widow of William Tyler. Fanny was born, Oct. 7, 1914, the daughter of the late John and Teresa Romita Mattia. She was the loving mother to Janet Lampo of North Haven and the late William J. Tyler, sister of James (Rose) Mattia, Charles Mattia and John (Geraldine) Mattia, grandmother of 8, great-grandmother of 15 and great -great -grandmother of 2, and several nieces and nephews. She was also pre-deceased by sisters; Madelina Palmieri, Anne Edberg,& Julia Gamon, a son in law, Joseph Lampo, a daughter in law, Madeline Tyler and a grandson, Timothy Tyler. Funeral services, at Blessed Sacrament Church, Hamden, were privately held. Interment was in All Saints Cemetery. The Peter H. Torello & Son was in charge of arrangements.
