Evelyn M  Barone Patrick 81, of Ivoryton, Ct., made her journey to heaven on April 27, 2018. She was the wife of the late Charles Patrick. Evelyn was born in New Haven, Dec. 7, 1936, daughter of the late Eugene and Evelyn Gagliardi Barone and was raised by the cherished, Anna DeAngelis Barone. She was a clerk for several area companies, including SNET and DLDS prior to retiring. She loved all animals, especially cats and her backyard wildlife. She volunteered at the Old Saybrook  Estuary and enjoyed gardening and baking for any occasion. A religious woman, she will be remembered for her beautiful smile, giving heart and her love of life. She is survived by her devoted daughters, Marian Smith (Jeff Feaster) of Higganum, Teresa Patrick-Connell (Mark) of Essex and Charlene Patrick (Curtis Johnson) of Ivoryton, her adored grandchildren, Ryan (Hanne), Kevin (Lauren) ,Travis (Dec)(Leah), Nicholas (Erin), Jacob (Stephanie), Justin, Cassie (Charles), Becca (Frank), Seth (Jess), and Sara . Great grandmother of Dylan, Izabelle  Kyle and Caiden. She will be also be missed by other family members, nieces, nephew, cousins and many friends. She was pre-deceased by her brother Eugene Barone. Funeral Thursday at11:15 from the Peter H. Torello & Son Funeral Home, Hamden and at Christ the Bread of Life Parish (Blessed Sacrament Church), Hamden, at 12 noon. Friends may call at the funeral home from 10 to 11:15 Thursday morning. Interment in St. Lawrence Cemetery, West Haven.
