Evelyn Antonino, 89, of Hamden died January 23, 2019 at Yale N.H. Hospital's St. Raphael Campus after a brief illness. Born in New Haven, daughter of the late Louis & Mary Pongetti, Evelyn worked as a seamstress for the Gant & Ciro Shirt Co.. She was a member of St. Ann's Society, and loved Mohegan Sun and playing her "Sizzlin Sevens".  She is survived by a daughter Ginny Antonino of Hamden, sons; Stephen (Angela) Antonino of East Haven and Albert ( Lisa) Antonino of Hamden, a brother Louis Pongetti Jr. of Guilford, and a sister Marylou Benedek of Hamden. The family would like to send a special thanks out to Avantus Renal Therapy. Funeral services will be held Monday January 28th at 11:00 A.M. in Blessed Sacrament Church (CBoL), Hamden. Burial will follow in All Saints Cemetery. Friends may call Monday morning from 9:30 to 10:30 A.M..
