Eugene J. Bellucci, 98, of 125 Putnam Ave., Hamden, died May 30, 2013 at Hamden Health Care after a brief illness. He was the husband of the late Elsie Ferrucci Bellucci. Gene was born in New Haven, Dec. 4, 1914, the son of the late Michael and Armida Cinquini Bellucci and was an accountant all his life, residing in Hamden most of his life. He is survived by a daughter Elaine (William) Silengo of North Haven, a son, Eugene (Kim) Bellucci Jr. of Hamden, grandchildren, Debra (Michael) Finoia, William (Cynthia) Silengo, Michael (Nancy) Silengo, Christopher (Noelle) Bellucci, Laura (Joseph) Follo and Brent Fitteron, 12 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his companion of 20 years, Rita Fazzio and siblings, Ida Letize, Frank and Edward Bellucci.The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Hamden Health Care and Sol Amor Hospice. Funeral services will be held Monday at 11 o'clock in the Peter H. Torello & Son Funeral Home, 1022 Dixwell Ave., Hamden followed by interment in All Saints Cemetery.
