Ernest Cassesse,93,of Fieldcrest La., Hamden died July 31 at Conn. Hospice after a brief illness. He was the widow of Evelyn Errico Cassesse. Born in New Haven, son of the Late Potito and Madelyn Cassesse, he worked as a foreman at Yale University, retiring 30 years ago. Mr. Cassesse is survived by a son John Cassesse of Guilford, a sister Ann Resino of Hamden, and grandchildren Kara, Jaime, Kathryn, Stephen, Scott & Kevin, and 3 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son Ernest ( Marilyn) Cassesse Jr. and 5 brothers & sisters. Funeral services Tues.10:30 from the Peter H. Torello & Son F.H 1022 Dixwell Ave. Hamden and at 11 A.M. at St. Ann's church. Burial in St. Lawrence cemetery. Friends may call Tues. from 9 to 10:30 A.M.
