Emily C. Gentile Perrotti, 91, formerly of Anthony St., New Haven, died Feb. 8, 2010, the day before her 92nd birthday. Emily was born in New Haven, Feb. 9, 1918, the daughter of the late Gennaro and Emmanuella Riccitelli Gentile and resided in New Haven for most of her life. She enjoyed her loving family, crochetting and was loved by all at Sound View of West Haven. She is survived by a son, Robert J. ( Mary ) Perrotti of Wallingford, a sister, Ann Piscitelli of West Haven, brothers Anthony "Biff" Gentile of New Haven and Ret. Col. George Gentile of PA., 5 grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, especially Lucy and Val. She was pre-deceased by a son, Joseph A. Perrotti, a sister, Concetta Richards and brothers John and Alfred DeSanto. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10:30 in the Peter H. Torello & Son Funeral Home, l022 Dixwell Ave. Hamden. Interment in St. Mary's Cemetery, Hamden. Friends may call Friday from 4 to 8 P.M.
