Emanuel "Chuck" Antonino, 81, of 333 Wintergreen Ave., Hamden, died March 30, 2012 at Whtney Manor. He was the devoted husband of 62 years to Evelyn Pongetti Antonino. Chuck was born in New Haven, Sept. 17, 1930, the son of the late Antonio and Mary Tangredi Antonino and resided in Hamden the last 42 years. He was a terminal manager for several trucking outfits for 25 years. He built a Model T Ford, was an avid gardener and enjoyed raising pigeons. Beside his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Ginny Antonino and sons Stephen (Angela) Antonino and Albert (Lisa) Antonino, all of Hamden, sisters Marie (Dom"Mickey") Marrozini of Orange, Geraldine Mastriano of East Haven and Linda(Nicholas) Teodosio of Fl., 3 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Also survived by 3 brothers. He was pre-deceased by a grandson, Paul Antonino and a brother Dominic "Mickey" Antonino. Funeral services will be held Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock in the Peter H. Torello & Son Funeral Home, 1022 Dixwell Ave., Hamden. Interment in All Saints Cemetery. Friends may call Monday from 5 to 8 P.M.
