Elsie Corraro Rubino Martone, 90, of 321 Wintergreen Ave., Hamden, form. of Stanley Rd., died March 5, 2011. She was the wife of the late Ralph Rubino and William Martone. Elsie was born in New Haven, April 15, 1920, the daughter of the late Frank and Florence DeAngelis Corraro and was a secretary at Hillhouse High School, The Edwards School and Sheriden Jr. High School, prior to retiring over 30 years ago. She was a member of the Golden Age Club at Blessed Sacrament Church and attended the Clelian Center. She is survived by children, Mrs. Joseph ( Maureen) Sarno of Hamden, and Ralph (Jane) Rubino of West End, NC, a sister, Lorraine Cunningham of New Haven and grandchildren, Debra (Thomas) Hennessey, Brian Sarno, Kimberly (Stephen) Selvaggi, Jill (Josh) Brumberger and Lindsay Rubino and great grandchildren, Tommy & Alyson Hennessey, Taylor Sokoloff and Clay Brumberger. Funeral Tuesday at 10:30 from the Peter H.Torello & Son Funeral Home, l022 Dixwell Ave., Hamden, Ct. and at Blessed Sacrament Church at 11 o'clock. Interment in All Saints Cemetery.
