Elizabeth Agnes DelVasto Rossetti, 87, of 65 Borrmann Rd. East Haven, died Aug. 20, 2013 at her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late John B. Rossetti, for 66 years. Elizabeth was born in New Haven, Feb. 25, 1926, the daughter of the late John and Evelyn DelVasto and had resided in East Haven most of her life. A longtime communicant of Our Lady of Pompeii Church, she was devoted to her family and enjoyed cooking for them. She is survived by her children, Betty Rossetti of East Haven, Mrs. Chester (Rose) Bialicki and Mrs. Arthur (Evelyn) Corda, both of Westbrook, Regine Rossetti of East Haven and Fred Rossetti of New Fairfield, siblings Alice Giamettei of Hamden, Albert Acker of Wlfg and John DelVasto Jr of West Haven, 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She was pre-deceased by siblings Blanche Acher Selbi and Edward Acker and a grandson, John Vallombroso. Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady of Pompeii Church on Saturday at 9 A.M. There are no calling hours. Interment private
