Elizabeth "Lizzy" Fiorentino, 93, of 735 Paradise Ave., Hamden, died peacefully at home, Nov. 14, 2011. Lizzy was born in New Haven, May 28, 1918, the daughter of the late Fillippo & Frances Cissio Fiorentino and had resided in Hamden for most of her life. She is survived by her devoted sister, Antoinette Latella of Orange and many loving and dedicated nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by siblings Frances Massaro, Anna Caliendo, Mary Grasso, Peter, Dominic, Salvatore, George, Nicholas, Philip and Paul Fiorentino. Funeral Thursdsay at 10:30 from the Peter H. Torello & Son Funeral Home, 1022 Dixwell Ave., Hamden and at 11 o'clock in the Church of the Ascension. Friends may call Thursday morning from 9 to 10:30 A.M.
