Obituary
Elena "Lena" Graziano Sette, 82, of Hamden, died Aug. 4, 2016 at Yale-New Haven Hospital after a brief illness. She was the widow of Joseph A. Sette. Lena was born in Hamden, Sept. 27, 1933, the daughter of the late Dominic and Concetta I
anniello and was a life long Hamden resident. She worked at the New Haven Register for 5 years and was a aide at the Church Street School for over 20 years. She was a devoted wife and mother and enjoyed her family and lunches with her Laureletes "sisters" and was a member of the Columbiettes of the K of C. She is survived by her children, Col. US Army, ret. Joseph Sette and his wife Dr. Alice of Dothan, Ala., Linda Sette-Hines of Coppers Cove, TX, Susan O'Neill and her husband Dan, of North Haven, and Sr. Chief US Navy, ret. Mark Sette and his wife Beth of Smyrna, GA. sisters, Rose Fioretti and Loraine (Don) Fioretti, both of Hamden, Marie Ferrigno of North Haven and the late Rita Velleca, sister in law of Fred (Barbara) Sette of Hamden and the late James (Lucille) Sette, loving grandmother of Joe, Sagan, Rebecca, Jennifer, Elizabeth, Alexandria, Bryan and Courtney and 7 great-grandchildren. Funeral Monday at 10:15 from the Peter H. Torello & son Funeral Home, 1022 Dixwell Ave., Hamden and at Blessed Sacrament Church at 11 o'clock. Interment in Centerville Cemetery.
