Elena DiLeone Lettiero, 92, of Hamden, died at her home, June 9, 2018. She was the wife of the late Joseph A. Lettiero. Elena was born in New Haven, July 29, 1925, the daughter of the late Sebastiano and Nunzia  Cofrancesco Di Leone and resided in Hamden most of her life. She was a bookkeeper at Bill Miller Dance Studio for over 50 years. She was an avid reader and loved to plan parties and grow flowers. She leaves her devoted children, Terese Keiser (Dennis) of Prospect, Nancy Lettiero of Guilford and Francis (Rosemary) Lettiero of Hamden, grandchildren, Joseph (Kristen) Keiser, Jennifer (Jeffrey) Pacelli, Michele (Anthony) Abbenante, Michael (Filomena) Lettiero, Matthew Lettiero, Christopher Warnes and Elena Warnes and ten greatgrandchildren. She was pre-deceased by siblings Annette Pepe and Angelo DiLeone. Funeral Wednesday at 10:15 from the Peter H. Torello & Son Funeral Home, 1022 Dixwell Ave., Hamden and at Blessed Sacrament Church at 11 o'clock. Interment in Beaverdale Memorial; Park.
