Elena Prati DeLizio, 86, of 875 Woodin St. Hamden, died Sept. 26, 2010 at Conn Hospice, surrounded by her loving family. She was the widow of Anthony J. DeLizio. She was born in Magnolia, OH, Dec. 2, 1923, the daughter of the late Massimo and Rose Boschi Prati and was a devoted mother and homemaker. She also enjoyed bowling. She is survived by sons, Louis A. DeLizio and Randy DeLizio, both of Hamden and William (Toni) DeLizio of No. Branford, sisters Margaret Messmer of Pompano Beach, FL and Mary DeLizo of Hamden, a brother, William Prati of Tuscon, AZ and grandchildren, Carissa, Nicolas, Jerri-Lynn and Alex. She was pre-deceased by siblings Catharine Tozzi, Ann Kapron and John Prati. Funeral Thursday at 9:15 from the Peter H. Torello & Son Funeral Home, l022 Dixwell Ave., Hamden and at St. Ann's Church at 10 o'clock. Interment in Beaverdale Memorial Park. Friends may call Wednesday from 5 to 8 P.M.
