Elaine Landino Price, 75, of Southington, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, October 8th, with her family by her side. She was a lifelong resident of Hamden and the beloved wife of Ernest Price. Elaine was born in New Haven on May 30, 1948 and was the daughter of the late James and Dorothy Abel Landino. Her greatest joys were spending time with her family, especially her grandsons, and making frequent trips to the casino. She retired after having worked for many years as an Activities Coordinator at an assisted living facility in Meriden. She was the loving mother of Denise (Frank) Gaudio of Southington, loving grandmother of Matteo, Nico and Brando Gaudio of Southington and Nickolas Barbiuto of Cheshire. Elaine is also survived by her twin brother James (Candace) Landino of Arizona and brother Daniel (Jacqueline) Landino of West Haven. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, her lifelong friend Nancy Crocco and her dog Hala. Elaine was pre-deceased by her loving son Christopher James Barbiuto, and nephew Stephen Landino. Services will be private at a later date.
