Edwin "Ed" Seda, 70 years young of Hamden, passed away peacefully on June 10th after a long illness, at his home surrounded by his loved ones, as he wished. Born originally in NY, NY. Ed served 6 years in the U.S. Army and was a Loss Prevention Director throughout the East Coast until 2004. June 2nd would have marked his late wife's (Linda Seda) birthday and would have been 40 years married. Followed by his only child from his former wife, Jasmine, his princess daughter, Lynette. He had three grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. In addition to his daughter, he leaves behind his surviving siblings in order of age: Luis, Sylvia, Anthony, Miriam and Doris. Never to forget his siblings that he joined in heaven, Myrna and Edward (Eddie). In further, all his wonderful nieces, nephews and cousins. His greatest pleasure was making people laugh. Ed wanted to tell all of his family, his close friends, and his 1500 Facebook followers that he loves each and every one of them and thank you for all the prayers and support during this whole process. Finally, to his neighbors, he couldn't have asked for better ones. Thank you for always being there for him. He loves you all very much. To everyone, never forget the good times and all the laughs. Life is too short, stick together and be there for each other.    God bless you all.

Calling hours will be Wednesday morning from 9:30 - 10 :30 am.
