Edward Vischio, 79, of 29 Haywood Lane, Hamden, died Oct. 7, 2009 at the Masonic Home. He was the husaband of the late Theresa Consiglio Vischio. Ed was born in New Haven, Jan. 1, 1930 the son of the late Giovanni and Margaret Fiore Vischio and was a cabinet maker, being employed at United Mill Workers prior to retirement. He was an Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict. He is survived by a sister, Christine Wallace of Lady Lake, FL. a brother, John Vischio of Hamden and many nieces & nephews. He was pre-deceased by sisters, Jennie Vivenzio and Lucy DeSteafano and brothers, Daniel, Nicholas, Joseph, Albert and Angelo Vischio. Funeral Tuesday at 10:30 A.M. from the Peter H. Torello & Son Funeral Home, l022Dixwell Ave., Hamden and at St. Ann's Church at 11 o'clock. Interment in Beaverdale Memorial Park. Friends may call Tuesday morning from 8:30 to 10:30 A.M.
