Edward Norton Noble, 90, of Hamden died Tuesday December 8th at CT Hospice. He was the beloved husband of Carol Lombardi Noble \. Ed ws born in New Haven and was the son of Harry & Hannah Noliboff. He was predeceased by his brother Theodore and sister-in-law Elaine. He is survived by his niece, Barbara (Robert) Eilertsen,grandniece, Emily Eilertsen and nephew Howard Noble. Ed graduated from Hillhouse High School and the University of Connecticut. Ed became a salesman and worked for several companies before joining the sales staff of Johnny Barton Wines and Liquors. Ed was a raquetball player for forty years at the New Haven Jewish Community Center. He loved watching the New York Giants and the UCONN women's basketball games. He enjoyed traveling to many countries, especially to Aruba with his wife. Most of all, Ed enjoyed being with his family and friends always happy, smiling and conversing. At the request of the family all services and interment will be privately held. Donations may be made to the American Heart Association ( www.heart.org ) or to a charity of your choice.
