Edward J. Cermola, 85, of Shepard Ave., Hamden died suddenly at CT Hospice on March 11, 2015. He was the husband of Patricia Riccitelli Cermola. Born in New Haven, son of the late Giovanni and Vincenza Cermola, Ed worked as a crane operator for the New Haven Terminal. An Army veteran of the Korean War, he was a member of the American Legion Post 88, Knights of Columbus #3605, and the Branford V.F.W. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son Mark Cermola of Las Vegas, daughters Jacqueline Cermola of Tampa FL, & Maria Cermola of Hamden, and sisters Grace Romandetti & Josephine Amore, both of Hamden. Funeral services 9:30 SATURDAY, from the Peter H.Torello & Son FH 1022 Dixwell ave Hamden, and 10 A.M. at Ascension Church. Burial in All Saints Cemetery.
