Dorothy Lazzari, 90 formerly of Branford, passed away peacefully on April 18th at Gladeview Healthcare Center in Old Saybrook. Born in New Haven, Dorothy was the daughter of late Frank and Elizabeth Esposito and was predeceased by brothers George Esposito, Frank Esposito Jr. and sister Helen Esposito Masciantonio of Hamden. Dorothy first worked as a secretary for a local union and then for Rockbestos Wire and Cable Company until her retirement.  Beloved wife of the late Tito Lazzari, Dorothy had a generous and kind heart. She had a passion and gift for cooking, loved music, gardening, crafts and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She is survived by her daughter Elizabeth (Jeffrey) Lazzari~Abbatello of Westbrook. Calling hours will be SUNDAY from 3 - 5 pm in the Peter H. Torello & Son Funeral Home, 1022 Dixwell ave., Hamden. A parlor service will held in the same location Monday at 10:30 am. Burial will follow in Beaverdale Memorial park.
