Donna D'Eugenio, 62, of 45 Jefferson Rd., Branford, died suddenly, June 7, 2012, after being stricken at her home. Donna was born in New Haven, March 12, 1950, the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Mogavero D'Eugenio and was a devoted registered nurse at Yale-New Haven Hospital for 32 years, prior to retiring. She enjoyed traveling, quilting and was an animal lover. Donna was fun loving, generous and a loyal person to her treasured family and friends. She is survived by a beloved sister, Maria (John) Kennedy of Hamden, cherished auntie of Kristin (Mark) Kornacki, Allison Kennedy and Mary (Patrick) O'Brien, great auntie of Sophie & Tyler Kornacki and Mia & Tessa O'Brien. She was also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and special friends. Funeral Monday at 10:30 from the Peter H. Torello & Son Funeral Home, 1022 Dixwell Ave., Hamden and at St. Rita's Church at 11 o'clock. Interment will be private. Friends may call Monday morning from 8:30 to 10:30.
