Donald E. Robinson, 79, of Hamden, beloved husband of Nancy Cietanno Robinson, passed away Nov. 17, 2015 at Yale-New Haven Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Don was born in New Haven, Aug. 23, 1936, son of the late Samuel and Dorothea Robinson and retired from Winchester Repeating Arms after 40 years. Donald was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather who will be greatly missed. He is survived by his children, Donald(Carmel)Robinson, Deborah Robinson, Patty Robinson, Cathy(Ralph Jr)Acquarulo, Deborah(Anthony)Petruzzelli, Christine(Brian)Fitzsimmons, 16 grandchildren, Jennifer Slater, Sarah Ness, Meghan(Jason)Anderson, Kaitlynn Fitzsimmons, Ariana Acquarulo, Briana Fitzsimmons, Ralph Acquarulo III, Daniel, Shawn, Nicholas Robinson, Maria Petruzzelli, Nicholas Petruzzelli, Carmella, Peter, Natalie and Liam Robinson, and 3 great-grandchildren, Mariah, Julianna Slater and Jase Anderson. He was pre-deceased by siblings, Samuel(Jackie)Robinson, Joan Jeanette, Jeanne Remillard and Mary Curtis and 3 grandchildren, Gene Lee Manford, Donald Robinson III and Elizabeth Robinson.
