Dolores E. Vermiglio 92 passed away peacefully June 1st at Benchmark Senior Living of Hamden. Born in New Haven, February 29, 1932 daughter of the late Nicholas & Anna Saccu Langello, she was a homemaker and loving wife of the late Stephen Vermiglio. Dolores enjoyed taking road trips, and camping in their R.V. She liked being on the family boat, but mostly enjoyed spending time with family, especially during the holidays. She is survived by her sons Nicholas S. (Maria) Vermiglio, and Joseph S. (Deborah) Vermiglio both of Hamden, grandchildren Nicholas S.A, Joseph S. (Stephanie), Phillip A. (Alyssa), and Lauren Marie Vermiglio. Calling hours will be held WEDNESDAY from 4-7 pm in the Peter H. Torello & Son Funeral Home, 1022 Dixwell Ave., Hamden. Friends are asked to go directly to Blessed Sacrament Church Thursday at 9:30 am for a Mass of Christian burial. Interment will follow in Beaverdale Memorial Park. The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff of the Harbor unit at Benchmark for the care and comfort they provided to Dolores and her family.
