Dolores Mariconde Dogolo, 81, of 104 Olive Street, New Haven died suddenly on October 30, 2014 after being struck by an automobile outside her home. Dolores was born in New Haven, on March 6, 1933, and was a clerk for the City of New Haven for over 20 years, prior to retiring. She was the daughter of the late Carl and Julia Cosenzo Mariconde. Dolores loved her Wooster Square neighborhood and enjoyed taking walks in the park, and talking to neighbors. She was a fantastic cook and baker, and also enjoyed shopping and going to the movies. Dolores is survived by her children, Georgiann Dogolo, of New Haven, with whom she resided, Lisa C. Dogolo of Mystic, Michael (Roxane) Dogolo of East Haven, Marlo (Charles) Giangrande of North Haven, her brother, Michael Nargi of Hamden, and grandchildren Victoria and Michael Dogolo, Charles, Nicholas and Juliana Giangrande, and her niece Cynthia Nargi of Branford. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 A.M. in the Peter H. Torello & Son Funeral Home, 1022 Dixwell Ave., Hamden. Interment in Beaverdale Memorial Park, Hamden.
