Diane V. Ferrucci Bourgeois, 71, of 6 Joan Ct., East Haven, died Sept. 13, 2014 at CT. Hospice. She was the wife of Edgar J. Bourgeois. Diane was born in New Haven, May 18, 1943, the daughter of the late Joseph and Rose DelChairo Ferrucci and was the produce manager for the former Walbaum Grocery Store for 12 years and then worked in the cafeteria for the East Haven School System for 5 years. She coached softball in the Foxon Rec. League and was a member of the Ladies Guild of Our Lady of Pompeii Church. Besides her husband, she is survived by daughters, Mrs. Thomas (Virginia) DeMatteo and Sandra Bourgeois, both of East Haven,a son Jack Bourgeois of New Haven, grandchildren, Lauren (Brandon) Piche, Kristen and Marissa DeMatteo and a sister Barbara Paulson. She was pre-deceased by a brother, Joseph Ferrucci. Friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady of Pompeii Church, Wednesday at 11 A.M. Interment private. There are no calling hours.
