David S. Taber, 68, of Hamden, died Nov. 30, 2018 at Yale-New Haven Hospital. He was the husband of the late Judith Cobb Taber. David was born in New Haven, Dec. 7, 1949, the son of the late Stephen and Albertine Doucette  Taber and resided in Hamden most of his life. A self-employed carpenter, he enjoyed cooking and spending time with his grandchildren. He is survived by his children, Jennifer (Michael ) Peterson of North Haven, Jeffrey Taber of Hamden and Adam (Gillian) Taber of Enfield, grandchildren Dylan and Zoey and sisters Gladys (Joseph) Sanca of Hamden and Jeannette Tassmer of Meriden. The family will receive friends Friday from 4 to 7 PM in the Peter H. Torello & Son Funeral Home, 1022 Dixwell Ave., Hamden. Interment will be private in Centerville Cemetery, Hamden.
