Daniel A. Zeoli, 90, of 95 Kathrine Dr., Hamden, died Feb. 4, 2013 at the Masonic Care Center. He was the husband of the late Philomena "Fannie" Sanzone Zeoli. Dan was born in Hamden, Oct. 31, 1922, the son of the late Nicholas and Philomena Nesto Zeoli and had resided in Hamden all his life. He was a Hamden farmer and owned and operated Goodrich Nurseries for 26 years. He then worked for Safety Electrical Co. of Wlfg. and Conn. Blue Cros, prior to his retirement. He is survived by a son, Daniel M. (Linda) Zeoli of Hamden, grandchildren, Diane (Jeff) Zeoli Soracco of Oxford, Michael (Dorothy) Zeoli of Cheshire and Gregory (Deborah) Zeoli of Woodbridge and great grandchildren, Samantha and Tanner Soracco and Matthew and Christopher Zeoli. He was pre-deceased by his sisters, Christine and Rita Zeoli. Funeral Thursday at 9:45 from the Peter H. Torello & Son Funeral Home, 1022 Dixwell Ave., Hamden and at St. Ann's Church at 10:30. Interment in Beaverdale Memorial Park. Friends may call Wednesday from 4 to 7 P.m.
