Rose D'Agostino, 93, of Whitney Ave., Hamden, formerly of BellaVista, New Haven died Jan. 13, 2013 after a long illness. Rose was born in Hamden, May 30, 1919, the daughter of the late Rocco and Giuseppina LaVorgna D'Agostino and was a weaver at United Technology and a steamstress at Straus Adler, prior to retirement. She is survived by a twin sister, Dolores D'Agostino of Hamden, and nieces and nephews, Josephine Testa, Angelo D'Adio Jr., Rocco D'Addio and the late Anthony D'Adio and several great nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by siblings Angelina, Raphaela and Rocco D'Addio Jr. and a nephew Rocco D'Addio Jr. Funeral Wednesday at 9:30 from the Peter H. Torello & Son Funeral Home, 1022 Dixwell Ave., Hamden and at St. Ann's Church at 10 o'clock. Interment in Beaverdale Memorial Park. Friends may call Wednesday morning from 8:30 to 9:30 A.M.
