Concetta "Connie" Cannici, 96, formerly of New Haven, and Madison,died June 5, 2010 at the Apple Rehab center of Guilford. She was the wife of the late Frank R. Cannici. Born in New Haven, daughter of the late Frank and Raffaela Gambardella DeLucia, she operated the Frank DeLucia Memorial Funeral Home from 1960 to 1993. She attended Madison Sr. Depot, Strong House, and was a member of St. Michael's & St. Anne Society and was a former member of the New Haven Funeral Diretors Association. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Raymond(Susan) Ginty of Guilford, sons; Ralph G.(Mary) Cannici and Frank Cannici Jr. both of East Haven, Grandchildren; Angie Cumpstone, Christina Bussmann, Connie Warner and Shaun Ginty and 2 great-grand-children. She was predeceased by sisters, Mary DelGiudice, Lydia Gagliardi, Erminia Bennett and Rose Durazzo and brothers Anthony,John,Oscar,Joseph,Vincent,Frank Jr.,and Gennaro DeLucia. Funeral Tuesday June 8th, at 10 A.M from the Peter H. Torello & Son Funeral Home, 1022 Dixwell ave. Hamden, and at St. Michael's Church at 11 o'clock. Interment in St. Mary's Cemetery, Hamden.
