Christine Fagan Caron, 90, formerly of Putnam Ave., Hamden, died March 3, 2016 in Porter Hospital, Middlebury, VT. She was  the wife of the late Jean G. Caron. Chris was born in New Haven,, June 6, 1925, the daughter of the late Christopher and Catherine Shannahan Fagan and had resided in Westville and Hamden most of her life. She graduated from Commercial High School, and prior to her marriage, she worked for the NY., NH and Hartford Railroad. She was a gentile soul who like books, and provided day care for both children and elders. A devoted Catholic she was a lay member of the Dominican Order. She is survived by her devoted sons, Dennis (Lisa) Caron of Middletown, CT, Paul Caron of Bristol, VT, and Daniel Caron of Hyannis, MA., 3 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Rita Church on Wednesday at 10:30. Interment will be private. Friends may call from 8:00 to 10:00 Wednesday morning at the Peter H. Torello & Son Funeral Home, 1022 Dixwell Ave., Hamden. Ct.
