Cheryl Sullivan (née Vaughn), 78 of Orange, CT passed away on December 9, 2025 surrounded by her loving family. Cheri was born on January 29th,1947 to Edgar Vaughn and Kathryn Torello Vaughn. Cheri was a lifelong Connecticut resident. She graduated from Amity Regional High School in 1965 and trained in diagnostic imaging at St. Raphael's Hospital. She remained there for most of her career as an x-ray technician, providing care and support to countless patients. Cheri was full of life and joy, never afraid to be herself. She had a gift for bringing people together, lifting spirits, and leaving a smile wherever she went. Her laughter, confidence, and energy will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her husband of 54 years Joseph Sullivan and her children Brian (Courtney) Sullivan, Greg Sullivan, Blair (Cameron) Pierce, her sister Kathie Sires, and five grandchildren.

Calling hours will be held Saturday January 31st from 8:30 - 10:30 am in the Peter H. Torello & Son Funeral Home, 1022 Dixwell ave. Hamden. A memorial service will follow at 10:30 in the same location. Burial will be privately held.
