Cheryl Franco, 68 of Hamden entered into eternal rest on Saturday September 24th. She was born in Portland Maine to Albert and Elizabeth Thibodeau on Dec. 8, 1953. Straight from high school she went to work for SNET for over 25 years and worked her way up in the company. She then went on to work for Yellowbook and Hibu holding various sales support management positions. She recently retired and enjoyed every moment with her family and friends. Cheryl is survived by her daughter Elisa (Brian) DiNatale and her son James (Lyndsey) Franco, her two brothers Gary (Linda) Thibodeau and Vincent Thibodeau, her nephews Jayson (Lindsay) Thibodeau, John (Lindsay) Thibodeau and Alec Thibodeau. She was a devoted "Nana" to her two beautiful granddaughters Brooke Franco and Ava DiNatale who meant the world to her. She also leaves behind many loving nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Cheryl was predeceased by her father Albert Thibodeau. Cheryl was an amazing baker and enjoyed experimenting with new recipes for us to try as well as our family favorites. Everyone will miss her incredible Christmas cookies and Whoopie pies, we will never be able to recreate her masterpieces. She was a loving, caring, all around good person who meant a lot to many people, she will be greatly missed. Friends ae invited to call THURSDAY from 8:30 - 10:30 A.M.in the Peter H. Torello & Son FH, 1022 Dixwell Ave., Hamden. A Mass of Christian burial will take place Thursday at 11 A.M. in Blessed Sacrament Church. Interment will follow in All Saints cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Childrens Hospital
