Charalabos "Bobby" Mais, 76, of North Branford, died at Yale New Haven Hospital on Aug. 12, 2018. He leaves his soul mate Jacqueline Hackley. Bobby was born in Kalabaka, Greece, the son of the late Theodoros and Aikaterini Parashoulaki Mais, and came to the U.S. when he was 24 years old. He worked in the restaurant industry for many years prior to retirement and enjoyed being with family and friends. He is survived by his daughters, Elizabeth Mais of Wilmington, N.C. and Katherine Mais of Ansonia, brothers, Stefanos and Stavros, both of Greece, grandfather of Edward Latham, Dylan Ruane and Christyan Mais, several nieces and nephews, and his former wife Carol Mais. He was predeceased by a brother Christoforos. Special thanks to caregivers Donna, Jean & Johnny Hackley, and his personal chef Estebon Campos. Friends are invited to a service at St. Basil Greek Orthodox Church, 85 Church St. South, New Haven, Thursday at 10AM. Interment in All Saints Cemetery
