Catherine Melillo Ferraro, 93, of 80 Lee St., West Haven, died March 24, 2010. She was the wife, for 75 years in Feb., to Carmen Ferraro. Catherine was born in Hamden, May 29, 1916 the daughter of the late Louis and Mary Cavorto Melillo and was employed at the Bayer Phamacutical Co prior to her retirement.She was a member of the St,. Ann Society of New Haven. Beside her husband, she is survived by daughters, Mary Pascale of West Haven and Mrs. Ronald (Jacqualine) Rukan of Wlfg. a son, Alexander (Carmel) Ferraro of Hamden, a sister, Dolores Krzeminski of Naplers, FL., a brother, Carmen Melillo of Branford, grandchildren, Gary Ferraro, Joseph Pascale Jr., Anita (Jimmie) Durso, Christy (William) Gorry and Christopher (Courtney) Rukan and great-grandchildnren, William and Paul Gorry. She was pre-deceased by her son in law, Joseph Pascale Sr., sisters, Florence Raucci and Connie Vance and brothers Thomas, John, Louis and Anthony Melillo. Funeral Saturday,9:15 from the Peter H. Torello & Son Funeral Home 1022 Dixwell ave. Hamden,and 10 A.M at St. Pauls Church West Haven. Interment in St. Lawrence Cemetery. Friends may call Friday from 5 to 8 P.M.
