Carolyn "Diva" Olivia Cheek, 56, entered into eternal peace on Saturday, March 26, 2016. Carolyn was born Oct. 7, 1959, a daughter of the late Kenneth E. Cheek and Shirley Cheek. Prior to her illness she worked as a Crossing Guard for the New Haven Board of Education. She leaves her loving memories to be cherished by her loving children, Kai, Missie, Aaron and MacArthur, along with 5 grandchildren and 1 great-grand child and siblings, Vivian, Nazareth, Cantrell, Sherry and Che Cheek. She was pre-deceased by her beloved grandmother, Vivian O. Cox, daughter, Nazareth and brother, Orrin Dright. Services will be held Monday, Apr,4, 2016: viewing from 10 to 11 A.M. Funeral service at 11:00 at Christian Love Center, 154 Derby Ave., New Haven, Ct. Burial in Beaverdale Memorial Park
