Carmelina Gianotti DeNuzzo Iannone, 90, formerly of Mix Ave., Hamden, died at Conn. Hospice after a long illness. She was the widow of Ferdinand DeNuzzo. Carmel was born in New Haven, Sept. 11, 1922, the daughter of the late Nicholas and Archangela Ciaburri Giannotti and earned a BS Degree in accounting, owned the Starlite Reality Co for 30 years, was office manager for Arthur's and Woolco Dept. Stores and was a well known phychic. She is the mother of Debbie Schaeffer and her husband Todd of PA and the late Carol Raccio, sister of Nicholas Giannotti of FL. a son in law Frank Raccio of Hamden, a sister in law Mary Giannotti of West Haven and a grandson Scott Schaeffer.She was pe-deceased by a brother, Dominic Giannotti. Funeral Monday at 10:30 from the Peter H. Torello & Son Funeral Home, 1022 Dixwell Ave., Hamden and at the Church of the Ascension Church at 11 o'clock. Interment in St. Lawrence Cemetery. Friends may call from 9:30 to 10:30 Monday morning.
