Carmel "Gay" Lotto Pucillo, 94, of Woodbridge, died Jan. 6, 2018 at St. Raphael Campus after a long illness. She was the wife of the late Anthony "Lee" Pucillo. Carmel was born in New Haven, June 26, 1923, the daughter of the late John and Angelina Pacileo Lotto and resided in Woodbridge most of her life. She owned and operated the Madamoiselle Beauty Salon in Westville, for over 70 years, prior to retiring. She was a member of the K of C, Columbiettes. She is survived by a son in law, Edward Riordan of Woodbridge, sisters, Edith Banner of Orange, Millie DeMatteo, Phyllis Civitello and Mary Franco, all of Hamden, grandchildren, Kathleen Furino and Christopher Riordan, and a great grand son, Brayden Furino. She was pre-deceased by her children, Virginia "Ginger" Riordan and Anthony Pucillo, Jr., and brothers, Anthony, Andrew and Albert Lotto .Funeral Tuesday morning at 10:15 from the Peter H. Torello & Son, 1022 Dixwell Ave., Hamden and at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, Center Rd., Woodbridge, at 11 o'clock. Interment in St. Lawrence Cemetery.
