Carlos J. Cotto, 61, passed away peacefully Tuesday August 25, 2020 at his home. He was born July 9, 1959 to Maria V Fuentes & Rosario Cotto. He married Ermelinda Cotto on Feb. 29, 2008, being together for 32 years. Carlos truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; making memories with his grandchildren, spending time with family, and playing his most valuable treasure, his guitar. Carlos was a man of God and had an uncanny ability to reach people in a deep and spiritual way. He is survived by his wife Ermelinda, 4 children; Carlos J Cotto Jr., Edi Crespo, Joncarlos Cotto, and Meledy Cotto, his 4 brothers; Jose R Cotto, Pedro Figuero, Rosario Cotto Jr., and Nestor Malave, 2 sisters; Yolanda Cotto and Elizabeth Martinez, 6 grandchildren and many nieces, nephews family and friends whose lives Carlos touched. He was predeceased by a brother Wilberto Figueroa. Visitation will be held Monday from 9-11 A.M. at  Iglesia Bautista El Calvario (Calvary baptist church), 126 Grand Ave. , New Haven. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
