Biagio "Benny" Floriano, 67, of Hill St., Hamden, died at St. Raphael Campus, Feb 9, 2015 after a brief illness. He was the devoted husband of Josephine DeCristofaro Floriano. Benny was born in Gioia Sannitica, Italy, Sept. 28, 1947, the son of the late Michele and Cristina Computaro Floriano and came to Hamden in 1963. He worked for the Town of Hamden, Park & Rec Dept, for 23 years, retiring 2 years ago. He is survived by his loving children, Cristina (Patrick) Gentile of Hamden, Michael (Michele)(Karen) Floriano of New Haven and Antonio (Graziella) Floriano of Cheshire, a sister, Anna(Giuseppe) Cofrancesco of Hamden, grandchildren, Jenna & Logan Gentile, Rebecca Redente and Serenna Floriano. He was uncle to Carmela, Angela and Michael. Funeral Saturday at 9:15 from the Peter H. Torello & Son Funeral Home, 1022 Dixwell Ave., Hamden and at St. Ann's Church at 10 o'clock.
