Bartolomeo,"Bart"DeMayo, 74, of New Haven, died Aug. 3, 2016, at his home, after a long illness. He was the husband of Ann Corda DeMayo. Bart was born in New Haven, June 16, 1942, son of the late Nicholas and Raffaela Consiglio DeMayo and was a counter and part clerk for Perrigo, Emerson, and Arpino Plumbing Supply, prior to retiring. He was a former member of the Westbrook Elks Club & the K of C and enjoyed the waters of Long Island Sound, especially fishing, crabbing and boating. Beside his devoted wife, he is survived by his children, Nicholas(Diane)DeMayo, Arthur(Norma) DeMayo of East Haven, Theresa(Albert)Tomei of Warwick, RI and Maria(Danny) DeMayo of New Haven, a sister, Celia(Joseph)Agnello of New Haven, a brother in law, Arthur(Evelyn)Corda of Westbrook, 13 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Friends are invited to go directly to St. Michael's Church, New Haven, Saturday for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM and may call at The Peter H. Torello & Son Funeral Home, 1022 Dixwell Ave., Hamden, Friday from 4 to 8 PM.  Interment in St. Agnes Cemetery,  Branford.
