Barbara D. Loucks, 93, of Hamden, died peacefully at the Whitney Center Health Care Unit on March 12, 2022. Born in Bridgeport, daughter of the late Harold & Gladys Sloat Dunphy, she lived in the greater New Haven area all her life. She will be remembered most as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother as well as the host of "Barbara's World" on WELI radio in the 1970's & 80's. She was predeceased by her husband of 65 years (Carleton Loucks); she is survived by her daughter Trevor Jane Rosenthal (Charles) of Hamden, her son Darrow Loucks of Clemont, Florida and her granddaughter, Elizabeth Colarusso (Anthony) of Dover New Hampshire.
