Augustine"Gus" E. Perrotti, 84, of 153 Leader Hill Rd., Hamden, died Sept. 17, 2012 at his home after a long illness. He was the husband of the late Virginia Severino Perrotti. Gus was born in New Haven, Feb. 24, 1928, son of the late Agostino and Caterina Romano Perrotti, was an Army Veteran of WWII, operated Gus's Beauty Shop for many years in Hamden and worked for Cummings Steel prior to retiring. He is survived by many nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by siblings, Assunta Maffeo, Daniel, and Peter Perrotti. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated Thursday at 11 A.M. in St. Ann's Church followed by ash interment in Beaverdale Memorial Park.
