Arnaldo D. Ramos, 83, of Hamden, died Dec. 14, 2011 at Whitney Manor. He was the husband of the late Maria Franco Ramos.Arnaldo was born in Portugal, Nov. 25, 1928, the son of the late Joao and Leonila Ferreira Ramos and had been a glazier for Whalley Glass for 25 years retiring, 17 years ago. He is survived by sons Agostinho (Luisa) Ramos and Emanuel (Gloria) Ramos, both of Hamden, grandfather of Manny, Michael, Michelle and Marco Ramos. He was pre-deceased by a son, Duarte "Art" Ramos. Friends are invited to a graveside service, Saturday at 9 A.M. in St. Mary's Cemetery, Hamden, and may call at the Peter H. Torello & Son Funeal Home, 1022 Dixwell Ave., Hamden, Friday from 5 to 7 P.M. The family would like to thank the staff at St. Raphael's Hospital and Whitney Manor for their wonderful care and compassion.
